Martha Owen played a significant role in Randy’s music career, having introduced him to singing and even performing alongside him on stage. As many fans know, Alabama was very much a family affair, with Randy forming the band alongside his cousins Teddy Gentry and Jeff Cook. Before Alabama was formed, Randy and his sisters performed together as a gospel group.

Our hearts and prayers go out to Randy Owen and his family during this challenging period. Thank you for tuning in to Country Cast. That will be all for today’s video.
