Kane Brown Launches European Leg of The High Road Tour, Teases New Music and Talks Fitness, Acting, and Family Life

Country superstar Kane Brown has officially kicked off the European leg of his The High Road Tour, opening in Cologne on September 30 before heading to multiple cities including Dublin, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester, and London’s OVO Arena Wembley. The tour marks another global leap for Brown, whose fourth studio album The High Road has already delivered major milestones.

The album’s lead single “Backseat Driver” recently became his eighth consecutive No. 1 at country radio, while his collaboration with Marshmello, “Miles On It,” has earned platinum certification and nearly 300 million global streams. The track also made Brown the first male artist ever to be the “most added” song at both country and pop radio formats simultaneously.

Speaking ahead of opening night, Brown said the long flight to Europe was rough—“I had a massive headache”—but he quickly recovered and went straight to the gym. As for performing overseas, he noted that international fans are “a little more excited” and tend to know the deep cuts. Walking through European cities and being recognized, he said, is still a new experience.

Brown revealed that his European setlist mirrors his American shows but leaves room for acoustic spontaneity, recalling an unplanned six-song encore in Dublin last year after his drummer became sick. What keeps him energized on long tours is simple: “The crowd’s energy. As long as they give it, I’m excited.”

Reflecting on his career, Brown says he feels he’s at a “weird part” where everything is “about to click.” The High Road was deeply personal, written largely during a period when he rarely left his home. Songs like “I Am” and “Haunted” were born from difficult moments that he feels he has since moved beyond, thanks in part to fitness and returning to social media.

Brown confirmed he’s already working on new music, with a forthcoming single titled “Unspoken” now in mastering. A new album is also in progress, with much of next year blocked off for writing.

Outside of music, Brown is exploring acting with roles in Nashville 911—where he plays himself—and the upcoming film The Token Groomsman. Though he loves acting, he says his ultimate dream is to write or produce a film, driven by his creativity in music videos and online content.

On the home front, Brown and his wife Katelyn balance public and private life by keeping their children grounded. Recently, the couple removed TVs from their kids’ rooms—a move that Brown says sparked protests from his daughter Kingsley.

Fitness remains a major priority, both for mental health and competitive drive. Brown hinted he may soon train with UFC fighter Michael Chandler: “I want to be the best or the fastest one there.”

As The High Road tour continues across Europe, fans can expect a mix of hits, deep cuts, and the spontaneous moments that have become a signature part of Brown’s live shows.
