Kane Brown Opens Up About Fatherhood: “I Love You, Dad” Is the Best Feeling in the World ❤️
Kane Brown might be one of country music’s biggest stars, but at home, he’s simply “Dad.”
The “Heaven” singer recently sat down with ET Canada to talk about life offstage — and shared just how much joy his daughters, Kingsley Rose (3) and Kodi Jane (1), bring into his world.
“It’s amazing,” Brown said with a smile. “My one-year-old has a crazy personality now, smiling all the time and saying ‘daddy.’ My three-year-old tells me she loves me if I get her juice.”
The chart-topping artist laughed as he described the chaotic fun of family life.
“‘I love you, Dad’ is like the best feeling in the world. Just playing and running around the house — her scream is so loud it hurts your ears, but it’s just fun,” he said.
Brown and his wife Katelyn often share glimpses of their home life on social media, showing sweet moments with their two girls, from morning cuddles to playful adventures.
And while most parents rely on lullabies to calm their kids, Kane has a unique trick up his sleeve — his own hit song.
“It’s funny because people always tell me my music makes their kids stop crying,” Brown shared. “So when our one-year-old’s crying, we put on ‘Thank God’ — the one I did with Katelyn — and immediately, she stops.”
For the Browns, music is a family affair.
“It’s cool just to see them watch me on TV,” he said. “But now they get to watch me and their mom together — that’s the best part.”
Whether he’s performing to a sold-out crowd or chasing giggles through the living room, one thing is clear: Kane Brown’s favorite role will always be being a dad.
