Kane Brown Opens Up About Fitness Struggles and Staying Motivated After Major Body Transformation

Kane Brown made headlines earlier this year when he revealed his impressive body transformation. Months later, the country superstar admits that staying consistent hasn’t been easy — but he’s determined to keep going.

“I’ve been in a little slump,” Brown, 31, told Men’s Journal at the Uber One Rodeo in Austin, Texas, on Saturday, October 18. “But I’m just going to keep pushing myself. I think it’s really, really fun to push yourself.”

After dedicating six weeks to strict fitness and nutrition, the “Thank God” singer said the most surprising part of his journey was realizing what he was capable of. “It’s the best part, but I’ll say it’s more mental than anything,” he explained. “A lot of people start working out, don’t see results right away, and give up.”

Brown shared that cardio — particularly walking and running — was the biggest mental challenge. “Right now, I’m trying to eat more, see if I can bulk up a little bit,” he added. “Coming back from Europe really threw me off my routine. I’ve just been drained and not on the right schedule.”

Despite his progress, Brown has faced some harsh criticism online, including accusations that his transformation wasn’t natural. After sharing shirtless photos that showcased his toned physique, some followers accused him of using steroids.

The CMA Award winner didn’t hold back his response. “I f’n love it!!! Please, on God, drug test me,” Brown fired back after one user wrote, “This isn’t even remotely possible even with world-class genetics.”

The “Miles On It” singer took the comments in stride, laughing off the rumors and proving that his fitness goals are rooted in discipline, not shortcuts.

With his continued commitment to health — even through “slumps” and jet lag — Brown is showing fans that real transformation takes time, effort, and a strong mindset.
