Kane Brown and Wife Katelyn to Serve as Executive Producers for Lifetime Movie Based on Their Hit Duet - Backstage Country

Kane & Katelyn Brown’s “Thank God” Inspires New Lifetime Christmas Movie

Some songs feel like they’re meant for the big screen—and Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn’s duet “Thank God” is one of them. The real-life couple’s heartfelt hit is now being adapted into a Lifetime holiday movie titled Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch, with the Browns serving as executive producers.

While the couple won’t appear on screen, Arielle Kebbel and Tyler Hilton will take on the lead roles. “The song ‘Thank God’ is so special to us… We love performing it and celebrating Christmas as a family, so for these two worlds to collide, we couldn’t be more excited!” the Browns shared in a statement.

The film, which features the song three times, follows Wes Campbell (Hilton), a pro hockey player recovering from an injury, who finds unexpected healing—and love—with Maggie Keller (Kebbel), a single mom and equine therapist at Keller Ranch.

Executive producer Adam Reed said the movie captures “the soul and universal themes” behind the Browns’ duet, while Lifetime’s head of programming Elaine Frontain Bryant called the collaboration “an extraordinary movie experience” that brings their storytelling through music to life.
