Ashley Cooke Reveals Kane Brown’s Epic End-of-Tour Gift

In country music, it’s something of an unwritten rule: tour headliners give their opening acts a gift at the end of a run to thank them for their hard work. And if you ask rising star Ashley Cooke, Kane Brown sets the bar pretty high.

Cooke recently shared on Taste of Country Nights that while joining Brown on The High Road Tour earlier this year, she received a truly unforgettable gift.

“Kane Brown gave me my first watch, like a really nice Rolex,” Cooke revealed. “I was like, ‘I don’t wear watches often, and he gave me one, which was very kind of him.’”

Brown isn’t the only superstar who has treated Cooke to a generous end-of-tour surprise. She also recalled wrapping a tour with Luke Bryan, who handed her an envelope full of cash—along with the advice not to “spend it all in one place.”

Cooke, who just released her latest single “The Hell You Are” to country radio, is continuing to gain traction as one of Nashville’s most promising new voices. While details on her upcoming album have yet to be announced, her growing list of tour stories makes it clear she’s already making waves in the genre.

As for Kane Brown, the country hitmaker recently scored his 13th No. 1 single with “Backseat Driver,” cementing his place as one of the format’s most consistent chart-toppers.
