Kane Brown Drops Summer Anthem “2 Pair,” Continues “The High Road” Success
Nashville, TN – Global superstar and father of three, Kane Brown, surprised fans on Friday (June 13) with the release of his brand-new track, “2 Pair,” a high-energy summer anthem poised to be on repeat all season long.
Produced by Jordan Schmidt, “2 Pair” encapsulates the feel-good energy and breezy vibes synonymous with warm weather. “’2 Pair’ is an anthem for the summer. I wanted to give my fans a song they can blast at full volume and sing along to all summer long,” Brown shared in a statement. “It perfectly matches the energy of the best time of the year, and I hope they feel that energy the same way that I do.”
The track showcases Brown’s signature blend of country with pop and R&B, highlighted by his smooth, laid-back vocal style. Driven by infectious guitar riffs, bold percussion, and instantly catchy lyrics, “2 Pair” is perfectly crafted for tailgate parties, late-night bonfires, and all kinds of summer celebrations.
The anthemic chorus invites immediate sing-alongs: “Give me two pairs of Luccheses/ All-white shirt and some bootcut jeans/ I’ll go all night, stomping to the beat/ I just got a check, blew it all on my feet like/ Ooh, ooh/ Ain’t s**t you can tell me, I feel like Nelly/ Give me two pairs of Luccheses/ All-white shirt and some bootcut jeans, yeah.”
Co-written by Brown alongside Jaxson Free, Jacob Hackworth, Ian Franzino, Gabe Foust, and Andrew Haas, “2 Pair” arrived via Sony Music Nashville. Its release follows Brown’s critically acclaimed album, The High Road, which dropped in January 2025.
The High Road, Brown’s fourth studio album, features 18 tracks including “Fiddle In The Band,” “I Can Feel It,” “Backseat Driver,” “I Am,” “3,” “Start A Fire,” “Gorgeous,” and “Stay (Reimagined Sugarland Song).” Brown described the project as his most personal and meaningful work to date. “This album, The High Road, is my favorite album I’ve ever made. I get to explore all sides of my story and styles of my music. Every song is important to me, and every collaboration means something personal to me. I’m so incredibly proud of this record,” he stated.
The album boasts six star-studded collaborations: Brad Paisley joined Brown on the reflective “Things We Quit,” Khalid teamed up with him again for the R&B track “Rescue,” and Jelly Roll featured on the powerful “Haunted,” which addresses mental health struggles. Brown also reunited with Marshmello on “Miles On It,” marking their second duet after the chart-topping success of “One Thing Right.” Notably, he duets with his wife, Katelyn Brown, on two songs: “Body Talk” and the emotional ballad “Do Us Apart.”
The High Road follows Brown’s 2022 project, Different Man, which featured chart-topping hits such as “One Mississippi,” “Like I Love Country Music,” “Grand,” “Bury Me In Georgia,” and “Thank God,” also featuring Katelyn Brown.
Following a successful U.S. leg of his headlining “The High Road Tour,” which saw sold-out arenas in cities including Nashville, New York, and Montreal, Kane Brown is set to maintain his momentum with a series of solo and festival performances this summer. He will then embark on the second leg of the tour, taking him overseas to Europe and the United Kingdom.
In addition to his musical endeavors, Kane Brown is poised to cap off his whirlwind year by making his feature film debut in The Token Groomsman.
