Amazon Music Announces Grand Ole Opry Takeover: Lainey Wilson, Dan + Shay Set for Oct. 21 Special
Nashville is gearing up for a big October event as Amazon Music announces a special takeover night at the Grand Ole Opry on October 21st. The event will celebrate Country Music Month and will be available for fans to stream globally.
Star-Studded Lineup at the Opry
The Amazon Music’s Grand Ole Opry Takeover promises to be an unforgettable evening featuring some of country music’s biggest stars and rising artists.
The confirmed lineup includes Lainey Wilson, Russell Dickerson, the duo Dan + Shay, Lauren Alaina, and Carter Faith, among others. The special show celebrates Country Music Month and will be available to stream online via Amazon Music.
Amazon Rolls Out Exclusive Music Originals
To mark the occasion, Amazon Music will also be releasing a series of exclusive Amazon Music Originals tracks.
Kicking off the releases is Kane Brown with the “Game Day Version” of his hit song “2 Pair.” This special arrangement features a marching band and drumline, making it perfect for the ongoing football season.
Kane Brown shared his excitement about the revised track: “I love that my fans have made ‘2 Pair’ the song of the summer. So how about a version for the football season with a drumline and marching band?”
He enthusiastically added, “Hope this gets you pumped up. Go Dawgs!” — a clear reference to the University of Georgia football team.
Following this, on October 10th, Tucker Wetmore will deliver his unique take on The Georgia Satellites’ classic track “Keep Your Hands to Yourself.”
Mark your calendars for October 21st for the special Grand Ole Opry show, and keep an eye on Amazon Music for the latest Original releases!
