Kane Brown Plays Good Samaritan During Nashville Snowstorm

Nashville turned into a winter wonderland on Monday (Jan. 15) as several inches of snow blanketed the city, giving country artists and their families a rare snow day. While many spent the day sledding with their children, Kane Brown also found a way to give back to his community.

Brown and his wife, Katelyn, made the most of the snow with their two daughters. Katelyn captured a sweet moment on Instagram as Kane went sledding down a hill with their oldest, Kingsley. After a chilly ride, Kingsley laughed and admitted, “Yeah, it’s so cold I can’t see,” prompting giggles from her mom behind the camera.

But the Browns didn’t just stay home. Recognizing that many Nashville residents still had to work despite the dangerous conditions, Kane stepped up to help. According to Katelyn’s Instagram Story, the singer offered rides home to local workers who were stranded in the snow.

“Kane went to the gas station this morning and has been seeing people working,” she explained. “So, he’s giving them rides home from work. He gave them his number and told them to call whenever they got off work.”

With his truck able to handle the snowy roads, Kane quickly earned a new nickname from his wife: “So currently Kane is like the Uber driver of Nashville,” she joked.

According to The Tennessean, Nashville’s Monday snowfall exceeded the city’s yearly average in just 24 hours. More wintry weather is expected in the days ahead.
