Introduction
Country music star Kane Brown, 31, is happily settling into his expanded family of five. In a recent exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the “Heaven” singer opened up about the joys of welcoming his third child, a son named Krewe Allen, in June 2024. Brown shared that this new addition has brought a unique dynamic to his family, complementing the already strong bonds he shares with his two daughters, Kingsley Rose, who is five and a half, and Kodi Jane, who is three, as well as his wife, Katelyn.
“It’s been cool,” Brown enthusiastically told PEOPLE. “I love my two daughters, and so it’s [an] amazing feeling having daughters, but there’s also a different feeling of having a son, and I’m just very grateful that I get to experience both of those.” He couldn’t hide his delight in his baby boy, describing Krewe as “so awesome” and “just so smiley,” affectionately calling him “the happiest baby ever because he’s my boy.”
Brown also shared heartwarming details about the bond forming between his children. He proudly stated that Kingsley and Kodi are already proving to be the “best big sisters in the world” to their new little brother. Their fascination with Krewe is evident, with Brown humorously mentioning, “I have to pry Kodi off of him sometimes.” He elaborated on their loving interactions, saying, “They just surround him, just run over and give him kisses, and just love him to death. And then Kingsley is just an awesome big sister for both of them.”
In other exciting news for the musician, Brown recently experienced a thrilling surprise during a visit to the Monster Jam arena on Wednesday, April 30th. Brown, who has ventured into toy design with his own Monster Jam truck set to hit stores soon, was astonished to walk into the arena and see a life-size replica of his toy truck. The experience became even more surreal when he had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the massive vehicle.
“Oh man, it was awesome,” Brown exclaimed, recalling the moment. “I feel like everybody has a dream of driving a monster truck and it was just, when I saw it, I don’t know, my mind was blown. It just was a replica of my old F250.” He further described the exhilarating experience of taking it for a spin, “I got to drive it around the track a couple of times. It was really awesome. There’s a lot of perspectives that I always thought about people driving monster trucks and I actually got to see them firsthand of about how buckled they are in the truck.” Brown also marveled at the sheer size and power of the vehicle, adding, “It just felt so cool being in such a heavy truck. Couldn’t imagine actually driving one in a competition.”
While his daughters weren’t physically present to witness their dad’s monster truck adventure, Brown assured that they would see footage of the exciting event later. Looking ahead, he shared his hopes of involving them in similar experiences, saying, “We talked about it doing it again somewhere. I would love for the girls to come and watch Daddy do that.” He also revealed their enthusiasm for the motorsport, “They love Monster Jam. I bought them a little Monster Jam racetrack from Target not too long ago and they played with that thing for so long and now I’m really excited just to get my truck and use it on the track.”
With Mother’s Day on the horizon, Brown admitted that the family’s plans to honor Katelyn were still in the works. However, the monster truck experience sparked a fun idea for a potential surprise. “After today, I thought about driving K-REX, my new monster truck, to get some flowers for Kate,” he joked. On a more sentimental note, Brown expressed his deep appreciation for his wife and family, stating, “I never at least don’t get some flowers, but our life’s just one big vacation. We’re just grateful where we’re at and grateful to have each other, so it’s basically always a [Mother’s Day] around here.” His words painted a picture of a content and loving family embracing their new chapter as a party of five.
