Kane Brown’s Grand Ole Opry Debut, Valentine’s Day Plans, and New Record Label

Country music superstar Kane Brown is celebrating a major career milestone as he makes his debut at the historic Grand Ole Opry. The 27-year-old artist, who has 29 chart-topping hits, is part of a new TV special celebrating 95 years of country music.

A Special Debut

For his first performance on the Opry’s hallowed stage, Brown chose to sing “For My Daughter,” a song that is deeply personal to him. “I wanted my first song in there to be about my daughter,” he said, adding that the moment would be even more memorable for her to watch in the future. The special, which is set to air on NBC, will also feature performances by icons like Carrie Underwood, Dolly Parton, and Garth Brooks, with Blake Shelton and Brad Paisley co-hosting. Brown expressed his excitement about seeing the two hosts together, anticipating their “witty” jokes.

More Than Music

Beyond the stage, Brown also spoke about his romantic side. When asked about his Valentine’s Day plans, he recalled a past year when he bought out “every rose at the store” for his wife, Katelyn, and left them for her to find at home. He said he prefers to do spontaneous, romantic gestures that are thought of “the day of.”

Brown is also expanding his role in the music industry with his new record label, 1021 Entertainment. He has signed his first group, Restless Road, and is taking a different approach to the business. Instead of signing multiple artists and leaving some “on the shelves,” he plans to focus all of his energy on one group at a time. “I just want them to know they 100% have my focus,” he said, determined to do everything in his power to help them succeed.
