Kane Brown and Wife Katelyn Confirm Their Family Is Complete

Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn, have officially closed the chapter on expanding their family. The couple, who tied the knot in Franklin, Tennessee, on October 12, 2018, are proud parents to three children: daughters Kingsley Rose (5) and Kodi Jane (3), and son Krewe Allen (1).

Katelyn revealed the update during a recent Q&A with fans on Instagram. When asked if they were considering a fourth baby, she responded simply, “we are complete.”

For Brown, family is everything. The country star has often spoken about how his difficult childhood motivates him to be the best husband and father he can be. “I would say that the big success is because I never really had that family thing. I’m still learning as a dad,” he shared during an appearance on the Great Company Podcast.

He credits Katelyn for reshaping his perspective on family life. Growing up, Brown’s holidays were often quiet and solitary, but through his wife’s close-knit upbringing, he’s experienced a new kind of togetherness. “Kate came in, she had a big family… They had a normal Christmas and a full family,” he explained.

Now raising three children of their own, Kane and Katelyn are focused on instilling kindness and resilience in their kids. “I want ’em to be sweet. I want ’em to care for other people,” Brown said, while also acknowledging the importance of teaching them to recognize and avoid life’s “snakes.”

Becoming a father has brought out different sides of the singer. As a girl dad, he admits to being fiercely protective, while his son has sparked a different kind of excitement. “With my boy, I’m like, ‘Damn, boy, your back’s big as hell. I can’t wait to get in the gym,’ or ‘You’re the next football player,’” he joked.

Despite his busy touring schedule, Brown makes sure to keep his family close, often bringing Katelyn and the kids along on the road. Balancing fatherhood with his career hasn’t always been easy, but for the couple, life as a family of five feels full — and complete.
