Carly Pearce Joins Kane Brown for Surprise Duet at C2C Festival in London
Fans at this year’s C2C Festival in London were treated to a special surprise when Carly Pearce joined Kane Brown on stage for an impromptu duet of “Thank God.” The song is typically performed with Brown’s wife, Katelyn, but she had to miss the trip for a very important reason — the couple are expecting their third child.
Brown, Old Dominion and Brad Paisley headlined the 2024 C2C Festival in Europe, with Pearce serving as Brown’s direct support throughout the weekend. Together, the pair delivered a heartfelt performance of the chart-topping hit, which soared to No. 1 for Brown and Katelyn in early 2023.
“I love @kanebrown and Katelyn so much,” Pearce wrote on social media after the show. “I was so happy to sing this one this weekend while Katelyn is getting closer and closer to baby #3.”
Fan-shot videos quickly spread online, showing Pearce nailing Katelyn’s part in the romantic duet. “What a special treat it was getting to hear these two sing together all weekend,” one fan account wrote on X/Twitter.
The Browns’ third baby will be a boy, though the couple hasn’t revealed an official due date. Their daughters, Kingsley Rose (born in 2019) and Kodi Jane (born in 2021), are already big sisters-in-waiting. Brown has also assured fans that baby No. 3 will complete their family of five.
In addition to Pearce, Brown welcomed another familiar face to the stage during his March 8 performance: Lauren Alaina. Together, they revisited his breakout hit “What Ifs,” adding to a setlist packed with fan favorites, album cuts, and covers including Gretchen Wilson’s “Redneck Woman.”
After wrapping up his C2C appearances, Brown will take a short break from the road. His next tour stop is scheduled for March 28 in Virginia.
