Country music fans know Kane Brown as a record-breaking superstar, but at home, he’s simply a husband and father — roles he shares with his wife, Katelyn Jae Brown, who has carved her own path as a businesswoman, performer, and entrepreneur. The couple, married since 2018, are now parents to three children and collaborators in both life and music.
From Music Dreams to Family Life
Katelyn, 32, once pursued her own music career. She briefly attended West Chester University before shifting her focus to recording and landed a management deal. She later earned a degree in music business from Berklee College of Music’s Online Programme in 2019, saying she “fell in love with the business side” of the industry.
Her path took a turn after meeting Kane in 2016. The two first crossed paths at one of his shows, and though they didn’t talk much, Kane later messaged her on Instagram. Within days, he flew her to Nashville, and the rest was history.
A “Weird” Proposal and Nashville Wedding
Kane proposed in an untraditional way — while the couple watched The Amityville Horror. He later admitted he had planned something more romantic, but “just couldn’t wait.”
On October 12, 2018, they exchanged vows at Mint Springs Farm in Franklin, Tennessee, surrounded by 200 friends and family. Since then, their family has grown with daughters Kingsley (5), Kodi (3), and their infant son Krewe.
Entrepreneurial Ventures
Beyond music, Katelyn has embraced entrepreneurship. In 2021, she teamed up with Aussie brand Amore + Sorvete to release a swimwear line. A year later, she launched a wine brand called Allen Rose, named after her and Kane’s middle names. The wines — including a rosé and pinot gris — are dedicated to their daughters Kingsley and Kodi.
Musical Collaborations
Fans have also seen Katelyn step back into the spotlight alongside Kane. She and Kingsley appeared in the 2020 music video for “Worship You.” In 2022, she officially joined him on record with “Thank God,” a duet featured on his third album Different Man.
The song became a massive hit, earning Video of the Year at the 2023 CMT Awards. The couple has since performed it together on tour, at Stagecoach, and on national television — giving fans a glimpse of their personal chemistry through music.
