Lesley Gibb, born on January 12, 1945, is the eldest sibling of the Bee Gees—Barry, Robin, Maurice, and Andy Gibb. Unlike her brothers, Lesley chose a private life, avoiding the limelight. She married Australian salesman Keith Evans in the 1960s, and they had seven children together. The couple relocated to Australia, where Lesley focused on raising her family and breeding Staffordshire Bull Terriers. Keith Evans passed away in 2014.

In 1969, Lesley briefly performed with the Bee Gees after Robin Gibb temporarily left the group due to a dispute. She was contacted by their manager, Robert Stigwood, and after three weeks of rehearsals, she joined Barry and Maurice for a performance at London’s Talk of the Town. Lesley described the experience as “amazing,” though she decided that a career in show business wasn’t for her, preferring her private life in Australia.

Tragically, Lesley’s daughter Bernice, known as ‘Beri,’ passed away in April 2021 at the age of 56 due to a suspected heart attack. Lesley expressed profound grief, comparing the loss to that of her brother Andy, saying she felt “numb” and had to cope with the pain by pretending he was still on tour.

As of 2025, Lesley is 80 years old. She continues to live a quiet life in Australia, cherishing her family and the memories of her time with the Bee Gees.
