Why Kane Brown Playfully Called Out Jason Aldean
Country music fans know there’s no shortage of camaraderie — and a little friendly teasing — between artists in Nashville. That playful side was on full display recently when Kane Brown had a good laugh at his friend Jason Aldean’s expense, calling him out during a radio interview.
It all started when Jason Aldean appeared on Taste of Country Nights with host Evan Paul. During the interview, Aldean admitted that he’s no handyman when it comes to home projects — confessing he couldn’t even build a birdhouse. But, as he explained, he considers himself much better at handling electronics. “I’m more of an audio and video guy,” Aldean said. “If anything TV-wise or sound system-wise goes out, that’s where I step in.”
The story took a fun turn when Kane Brown joined Taste of Country Nights after Aldean’s interview. When host Evan Paul brought up Aldean’s claim about being an audio-visual expert, Kane couldn’t hold back his laughter. “Hell nah! No, he’s lying to you!” Brown shot back, grinning.
Kane then shared a behind-the-scenes story to set the record straight. He revealed that a mutual friend — part of their gaming circle — had recently set Aldean up with a new computer. Not long after, Aldean called the same friend for help when he ran into a tech issue. “I haven’t even seen Aldean online in a minute,” Kane laughed, explaining how Jason reached out for help rather than fixing the problem himself.
Kane recounted teasing the friend about the fact that “Jason Aldean is calling your cell phone to ask you to fix his gaming setup.” And rather than tackle it on his own, Aldean even had the friend come over to sort out the issue in person. Kane jokingly concluded, “Yeah, he might be able to plug in an HDMI cord into the back of the TV — I’ll just say that. I’m calling you out, Aldean!”
Of course, it’s all in good fun. There’s no actual feud here — just a lighthearted jab between buddies who happen to be two of country music’s biggest stars and avid gamers. Their playful banter is a reminder of the down-to-earth friendships behind the scenes in Music City.
Would you love to see Kane and Jason square off in a gaming livestream? Fans would probably line up for that showdown.
