Kane Brown’s “The High Road” Album and Style Evolution

Country music star Kane Brown recently sat down with iHeartRadio’s Emily Curl to discuss his new album, “The High Road,” his growing family, and his evolving sense of style.

“The High Road” Is a Hit with Fans

Kane shared that the first few days after an album release are a whirlwind of checking charts and reading fan messages. He was thrilled by the positive response to the new music, noting that fans are connecting with a variety of songs. He mentioned that “Haunted,” a track about his grandfather’s Alzheimer’s, and “Lived,” a song featuring his wife, Katelyn, are receiving particularly strong feedback. The album also features collaborations with artists he’s worked with before, making the project feel like a special “family affair.”

His own family is heavily involved in the music, with his daughters dancing to the tracks and his wife providing input on her favorite songs. He shared a heartwarming anecdote about his daughter, Kingsley, asking to listen to “Haunted” ten times in a row, a sign he took as a good omen for the song’s success.

A New Chapter: Family and Style

Kane also opened up about life as a father of three, including his new son, Crew. He described Crew as a “smiley baby” and shared a sweet story about his middle daughter, who is “obsessed” with her baby brother, constantly trying to kiss him. He also confirmed that his eldest, Kingsley, still “runs the house” at five years old.

The interview took a fun turn with a segment on Kane’s style evolution. He admitted that his fashion sense has changed dramatically over the years. When discussing the cover art for “The High Road,” he mentioned that his new stylist, AO, is helping him embrace a more fashion-forward look, even if it feels a little “uncomfortable” at first. He walked through several red-carpet photos, from a sleek 2023 CMT Awards outfit to a more casual look from a Jingle Ball tour. He even cringed at a 2022 Billboard Music Awards outfit, joking that it was “too young” for him now that he’s 31. He fondly recalled his very first red carpet in 2015, where he drove his Honda that “wouldn’t go over 4,000 RPMs.”

The “Different” Tour and an Exciting Future

Looking ahead, Kane revealed that his upcoming tour will be “the most different” yet. He plans to add more new songs to the setlist than ever before, promising a fresh experience for fans. He expressed his excitement for the tour and his continued journey in music.
