Introduction:
Kane Brown Celebrates Patrick Mahomes’ Birthday With Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce
Kane Brown found himself in A-list company over the weekend. The country star and his wife, Katelyn, joined NFL power couple Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, along with Travis Kelce and fiancée Taylor Swift, for a birthday celebration following the Kansas City Chiefs’ home opener on Sunday, Sept. 14.
The group gathered at 1587 Prime, a brand-new steakhouse co-owned by Mahomes (jersey No. 15) and Kelce (jersey No. 87). The restaurant officially opened its doors on Mahomes’ 30th birthday, Sept. 17.
Brown later shared a glimpse of the night on social media, captioning his post: “happy birthday Pat & congrats TT?? thanks for hosting us Britt.” Fans quickly interpreted “TT” as a nod to Travis and Taylor’s recent engagement.
Taylor Swift Meets Kane Brown: A Future Collab?
While many fans commented on the group’s stylish looks—Swift in a chic sand plaid ensemble with Gucci pumps and a Chanel pendant, and Kelce in a schoolboy-inspired suit with shorts (which sparked plenty of “missing pants” jokes)—others focused on the possibility of music magic.
“A Kane and Taylor collab is what we are missing,” one fan wrote. Another added: “kb taylor collab when??”
Swift isn’t featuring Brown on the credits for her upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl, but the idea of her returning to her country roots alongside the “2 Pair” singer is one fans aren’t letting go of anytime soon.
Kane Brown’s Expanding Career
Even without a Swift collaboration, Brown has plenty to celebrate. He’s making his feature film debut in The Token Groomsman, alongside Taylor Lautner, a close friend of Swift’s.
He’s also set to star in the premiere episode of 9-1-1 Nashville, airing Thursday, Oct. 9, at 9 p.m. on ABC. According to the network, Brown will play a key role in a major storyline, with part of the episode filmed during a live concert in Nashville on Aug. 7.
The cast includes more country star power, with LeAnn Rimes as a series regular and Kimberly Williams-Paisley (wife of Brad Paisley) in a starring role.
Brown is no stranger to the screen—he appeared in CBS’s Fire Country in 2023 and has hosted the CMT Awards three times.
