Kane Brown Admits He Won't Be Able to Do This With His Son

Kane Brown Opens Up About Fatherhood and Welcoming His First Son: “I Don’t Know If I Can Be Hard on Him”

Kane Brown is officially a dad of three — and this time, it’s a boy! The country superstar and his wife, Katelyn Brown, recently welcomed their third child, a son named Krewe, joining big sisters Kingsley, 4, and Kodi, 2.

During a recent appearance on CMT Hot 20 Countdown, Brown got candid about adjusting to life as a family of five — and revealed one surprising challenge he’s facing as a new boy dad.

“I don’t know if I’m gonna be able to be hard on him, just ‘cause I had two daughters first,” the “Heaven” singer admitted with a laugh.

Having been surrounded by girls since becoming a father, Brown shared that it might be difficult to shift gears and take on the traditional “tough dad” role with his son. Still, he’s determined to raise Krewe with the same values and love that define his bond with his daughters.

“I’m gonna make him — ya know, whatever he puts his mind to, he’s gotta fully commit to that,” Brown said, emphasizing that determination and discipline will be key lessons for his little boy.

In an earlier conversation with Taste of Country, Brown also confessed another lighthearted worry — that Krewe might get picked on by his two big sisters. “I just don’t want him to be afraid of them picking on him,” he joked. “He might not be able to take it.”

Judging by the Browns’ first family photos, though, it seems like there’s nothing but love between the siblings. In a sweet video shared by Katelyn on Instagram, Kingsley and Kodi were seen gently greeting their baby brother at the hospital, both beaming with pride and excitement.

Kane and Katelyn have become pros at balancing life on the road with family time. The couple has previously toured with their daughters, often sharing behind-the-scenes moments that fans can’t get enough of. Adding baby Krewe to the mix, Brown says, might not change much — except for even more joy and a few extra cuddles.

With his trademark honesty and humor, Brown continues to give fans a heartfelt look into his life beyond the stage — not just as one of country music’s biggest stars, but as a devoted husband and father finding his way in a growing family full of love, laughter, and now, a little boy named Krewe.
