Country stars Kane Brown and Jelly Roll have teamed up for a deeply emotional new collaboration titled *“Haunted.”* The poignant track dives into themes of depression, loneliness, and the haunting weight of inner struggles, offering listeners a raw glimpse into the mental battles both artists have faced.

“‘Haunted’ is a song that I wrote about depression,” Brown shared. “It’s about everything that I go through, and I know a lot of people that go through as well. I wanted to put it out to raise awareness—because if you don’t experience it, you might not understand it. This song sums it up, and Jelly Roll came in to take it to another level.”

Produced by Dan Huff and co-written by Brown with Gabe Foust and Jaxson Free, the song opens with Kane reflecting on the emptiness behind fame: *“They say I’m a superstar, but I still got this feeling in my bones.”* His lyrics paint a vivid picture of sleepless nights and the isolating side of success. Jelly Roll joins in the second verse, delivering one of his most vulnerable performances to date, confessing that even wealth and recognition can’t silence his pain.

The chorus captures the haunting nature of their shared experience: *“I’m haunted by the voice in my head… I wanted too many times to jump off the edge, thinkin’ I was better off dead.”* Their voices intertwine in a chilling harmony that resonates with anyone who has faced mental health challenges.

The accompanying music video, directed by Alex Alvga, brings the song’s heavy emotions to life. Shot throughout 2024 and early 2025, it shows both artists wrestling with their thoughts in dark, introspective scenes—each striving for hope amid the pain.

“Haunted” appears on Brown’s just-released fourth studio album, *The High Road,* which dropped January 24 via Sony Music Nashville. The 18-track collection includes collaborations with Marshmello, Khalid, Brad Paisley, and Katelyn Brown, blending country, pop, and soul influences.

“This album is my favorite I’ve ever made,” Brown said. “Every song is personal, and every collaboration means something to me.”

Kane Brown will bring *The High Road* to life on tour beginning March 13 in San Diego, joined by Scotty McCreery, Mitchell Tenpenny, Ashley Cooke, and Dasha on select dates.

With “Haunted,” Kane Brown and Jelly Roll shine a compassionate light on depression, reminding fans that even in fame, no one is immune to the battles within—and that talking about it is a step toward healing.
