She, on the other hand, felt an immediate connection and even told a friend, “I’m marrying this guy.” When Katelyn first flew to Nashville, the pair had lunch, and Kane reflected, “I thought she was beautiful, and I thought she was a sweetheart, but I thought it was almost like it was too good to be true. But she had no idea who I was. I had just kind of broke viral.”
Katelyn initially didn’t plan to attend Kane’s show, focused on her own music career. Yet, convinced by someone Kane was working with, she drove six hours to see him perform. Kane recalls her as “literally the sweetest human being on Earth,” marking the beginning of their enduring bond.
Together, Kane and Katelyn have built a family of three children: daughters Kingsley and Kodi, and son Krewe. Kane considers his family his greatest achievement, surpassing even his chart-topping music career. “I would say that the big success is because I never really had that family thing,” Kane shared. “So I’m still learning as a dad.”

Kane, who experienced a turbulent childhood and lacked a consistent father figure, appreciates the warmth and traditions Katelyn brings. “I used to have Christmas, and then I would go to my room and play alone. She’s like, ‘Let’s have breakfast and open the toys,’ and we just have a big Christmas,” Kane explained.
