Scotty McCreery Takes a Hard Fall on Stage While Touring With Kane Brown — But Laughs It Off

Just like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, Scotty McCreery launched his career through American Idol, winning Season 10 back in 2011. Since then, he has built an impressive career in country music with hits like “Five More Minutes” and “I Love You This Big.” And just last year, he reached a major milestone by becoming an official member of the Grand Ole Opry.

But even seasoned performers aren’t immune to mishaps — and McCreery recently proved that during a live show.

A Slip During The High Road Tour

Currently on the road with Kane Brown as part of The High Road Tour, McCreery has been energizing crowds across the country as the opening act. During a recent performance, however, the singer lost his footing while dancing across the stage.

Although he tried to catch himself with one arm, it wasn’t enough — and he went down completely.

His Band Thought It Was Hilarious

McCreery quickly bounced back to his feet and kept performing, joking,
“Who put that there?”

Trying to shake off the moment, he admitted that his wrist was hurting after the fall. His band, on the other hand, didn’t seem too concerned — mostly because they found it funny.

One band member teased:
“I’m the last person who had to go to the hospital from falling down, so when I saw Scotty do it, I was a little concerned. Glad he didn’t hurt himself, but… it was just a little enjoyable.”

McCreery laughed along with them, saying,
“I haven’t done that in a minute.”
Backstage, he even lifted his wrist to show it was still bothering him.

Fans React to the Moment

Fans also chimed in online, turning the fall into a lighthearted moment.

One viewer wrote:
“I have watched this at least 5 times and laugh every time at Scotty’s recovery — so funny!!”

Another fan pointed out that this isn’t the first time the singer has taken a tumble:
“When you were on tour with Brad Paisley, you fell off the stage at Bethel Woods, NY. We were at that show!”

A Reminder Before the Next Show

While McCreery continues to entertain thousands with ease, his latest tumble suggests he might want to devote a little extra attention to balance before heading out on stage again.
