Kane Brown and Wife Katelyn Step Into Producing With New Lifetime Holiday Film, Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch
Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn are officially adding a new title to their résumés: film producers. The country music power couple has taken on a major behind-the-scenes role in the production of a new Lifetime holiday movie, Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch—a project directly inspired by their chart-topping duet, “Thank God.”
For the Browns, helping to bring the story to the screen felt like a natural next step.
“The song ‘Thank God’ is so special to us,” the couple shared in a joint statement. “We love performing it on stage, and it’s incredible how it’s connected to so many fans.”
They added that blending their love for Christmas with a song already close to their hearts was an opportunity too meaningful to pass up.
“We also really love Christmas and celebrating as a family. So for these two worlds to collide, we couldn’t be more excited!”
What Is Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch About?

The film centers on the unexpected meeting of Wes Campbell (played by Tyler Hilton) and Maggie Keller (Arielle Kebbel). Wes, a professional hockey player sidelined by a serious injury, arrives at Keller Ranch for rehabilitation. The ranch is run by Maggie, a single mother still navigating the grief of losing her husband.
As Christmas approaches, both characters find themselves wounded—Wes by bitterness, Maggie by heartbreak. Their paths cross at exactly the right (or perhaps wrong) time, igniting a spark neither expected. The question becomes: can two hurting hearts find healing in each other? And will their connection survive once the holiday season fades?
Will Kane and Katelyn Appear in the Movie?
Although the film is inspired by their duet, Kane and Katelyn Brown do not appear on screen. Their song, however, plays an important role and will be featured in the movie’s soundtrack.
When Does Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch Premiere?
The film makes its debut on Lifetime on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 8 PM ET. It joins the network’s annual It’s a Wonderful Lifetime lineup, promising a blend of romance, healing, and holiday magic—all tied together by the emotional heartbeat of the Browns’ beloved duet.
Fans can already catch a preview of the cozy holiday romance in the official trailer released by Lifetime.
