Kane Brown & Katelyn Brown Bring Holiday Cheer as Executive Producers of New Lifetime Christmas Movie Inspired by “Thank God”

This holiday season, country superstar Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn Brown, are spreading Christmas magic in a whole new way. The pair have stepped behind the camera as executive producers of Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch, a Lifetime film inspired by their chart-topping duet “Thank God.” The network has officially released a brand-new trailer, giving fans their first look at the emotional and uplifting story soon coming to screens.

The trailer introduces viewers to Arielle Kebbel, who stars as Maggie Keller, a single mother running her family ranch while navigating the first Christmas since losing her husband. Determined to make the holiday meaningful for her child, Maggie focuses on rebuilding traditions — even as she carries the quiet weight of grief.

Her world shifts with the arrival of Wes Campbell, played by One Tree Hill alum Tyler Hilton. A professional hockey player recovering from a serious injury just weeks before Christmas, Wes comes to Keller Ranch seeking physical rehabilitation. Initially doubtful that a rural ranch can offer what he needs, Wes quickly discovers that Maggie’s grounded strength may help him heal in ways he never expected.

As the two spend more time together, emotional walls begin to soften. Their hesitant partnership slowly evolves into something deeper — and soon, an unexpected holiday romance starts to bloom against the backdrop of snowy fields, ranch chores, and quiet moments of shared vulnerability.

Although Kane and Katelyn do not appear on screen, their creative fingerprint is felt throughout the film. Working closely with Lifetime’s production team, the Browns helped shape a story that reflects the core themes of their duet: love, gratitude, second chances, and the courage to open your heart even during life’s hardest seasons. Fans can also expect the beloved song to appear multiple times throughout the movie.

Thank God has already proven its cultural impact. Released in 2022 on Kane’s album Different Man, the duet quickly soared to No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart and earned multiple accolades, including three CMA nominations and the CMT Music Award for Video of the Year. Its heartfelt message — a celebration of gratitude for finding “the one” — resonated instantly with listeners.

“This film captures and translates to the screen the soul and wildly universal themes behind Kane and Katelyn’s hit duet,” said executive producer Adam Reed. “Their music evokes a feeling that has attracted millions of fans, and it’s a gift to bring that spirit to life on screen.”

With romance, healing, and holiday warmth at its core, Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch is shaping up to be one of Lifetime’s standout films of the season.
