Introduction

Kane Brown recently shared an entertaining and revealing conversation about his music, songwriting, fitness journey, and life outside the spotlight. The country star looked back on some memorable moments while discussing his upcoming album and the exciting changes happening in his career.
One funny story involved Brown’s appearance at a major New York concert. Because he was running late for his flight, he grabbed whatever clothes were available in his suitcase, including a T-shirt featuring a wolf design. The event itself was unforgettable, although the backstage conditions were far from comfortable. With Andrea Bocelli preparing to perform and preferring warm temperatures for his vocal preparation, the tent became extremely hot. Brown joked that the other artists were practically melting while waiting to perform.
Songwriting remains an important part of Brown’s creative life. He explained that he does not care whether he personally wrote a song as long as the song is great. In fact, he has deliberately avoided taking credit for songs written by other artists, believing that writers deserve to receive full recognition for their work. His decision eventually inspired him to start his own publishing company, allowing him to support other songwriters while building a stronger creative community.
Brown also talked about his upcoming album. He already has nine songs recorded and hopes to release an album containing around 15 or 16 tracks. The challenge is choosing the right material from approximately 45 to 50 songs he has written. One of the most interesting songs is “One Mississippi,” which came from a songwriter named LaVon Gray. Brown invited Gray to Nashville after discovering his singing on Instagram. Gray later became part of Brown’s publishing company, creating a major opportunity for the emerging songwriter.

Outside music, Brown has also undergone a remarkable physical transformation. After joking with his wife about wanting to look more muscular onstage, he committed to working out six days a week. He increased his weight from around 180 pounds to nearly 200 and hopes to reach 215 pounds. His fitness routine has become part of his daily lifestyle, often involving his security guard and close friends.
Despite his growing fame, Brown still enjoys connecting with fans. He regularly invites young fans onto the stage when they show enough confidence to sing or dance. Sometimes they become nervous, but Brown has learned how to help them relax.
With a major tour approaching, Brown says he is more excited than ever. Bigger stages, elaborate lighting, and even fire effects are part of the new production. Yet beneath all the spectacle, his focus remains simple: perform great songs, connect with fans, and continue growing as an artist.
