Introduction

Kane Brown may be known as one of country music’s biggest stars, but behind the confident performer is a quiet, laid-back person who prefers a much simpler life away from the spotlight.
During a recent interview with 102.7 Kiss FM, Brown opened up about his personality, family, music and the challenges of balancing life on the road with being a father of three. Although he considers himself an introvert, Brown explained that performing on stage brings out a completely different side of him. Years of experience have taught him to become comfortable in front of cameras and large crowds without pretending to be someone he is not.
Away from music, Brown’s favorite role is being a father. With three children, including a newborn, life at home has become busier than ever. Touring has kept him away from his family recently, making him especially eager to return home. He credits his wife and their nanny for helping keep everything running smoothly while he is on the road.
Fatherhood has also changed some of Brown’s favorite hobbies. He used to spend several hours playing video games every night, especially Call of Duty, but early mornings and family responsibilities have reduced his gaming time. These days, golf has become another way for him to relax and recharge.
Brown also spoke about his growing interest in barbecue, despite admitting that he is not much of a cook. His love of barbecue eventually led to a collaboration involving Guy Fieri, after Brown discovered a sauce he considered one of the best he had ever tasted.

Perhaps the most personal part of the conversation involved Brown’s upcoming album. Instead of focusing entirely on commercial hits, he is leaning toward songs based on real experiences. One track, “Backseat Driver,” reflects his relationship with his daughters, while another explores his grandfather’s battle with Alzheimer’s. Brown also has a song inspired by the significance of the number three in his life.
Mental health is another major theme. Brown revealed that he has struggled with depression and often puts tremendous pressure on himself. His upcoming collaboration with Jelly Roll explores those feelings, contrasting sadness and anger before bringing the two perspectives together.
Brown’s career has also evolved significantly since he first broke into country music through social media. Once questioned and doubted because of his online numbers, he ultimately proved himself through sold-out shows and a growing fan base.
With a new album expected early next year, another tour potentially on the horizon, and a trip to Australia coming in November, Brown shows no signs of slowing down. Yet beneath the superstar schedule, his priorities remain remarkably grounded: meaningful music, family, personal growth and finding moments to simply be himself.
